Nicaragua or Honduras

The Program Associate (PA) is one of the only Global Brigades positions for non-locals to work directly alongside the on-the-ground teams in Nicaragua, Panama and Honduras. The PAs work to empower and prepare volunteers to make meaningful impact on their brigades AND work along-side our local staff and community members to consult and improve our ability to meet health and development objectives. As a Design Associate, you will help design and develop a wide range of marketing material for various Global Brigades initiatives, including brand visual identity systems, brochures, presentations, infographics, branded merchandise, responsive landing pages, email newsletters, storyboards designed to pitch concepts, and occasionally video/motion graphics. The Business Development Manager will define the vision and oversee implementation of a financing social enterprise that channels capital to the cajas with the overarching focus of determining how to break-even, scale the model, and eventually achieve profitability. He/she will be responsible for the day-to-day management of external partnerships with investors, donors, and other strategic partners of the financing social enterprise, ensuring compliance with all external reporting requirements and policies. Additionally, he/she will play a key role in securing new sources of financing for the financing social enterprise and GBH Business Program, with a focus on targeting external debt capital to channel to the cajas.
