The 9th annual European SLC will take place on Saturday October 12th, 2019 at St. George’s University of London
The conference will bring together Global Brigades leaders, staff and board members from across Europe to engage in a day filled with leadership training, presentations, breakout sessions and discussions. Throughout the day we will focus on developing your role as a leader within Global Brigades, thinking critically about sustainable development, discussing ethical volunteering, sharing best practices, and providing the latest updates from GB.
Don’t miss out on meeting very special guests Dr. Cornelius Normeshie who will be visiting us from Global Brigades Ghana and Global Brigades founder Dr. Duffy Casey!
Registration costs £10 per participant and the deadline to register for the European SLC is October 1st, 2019.
The 2019 European Student Leadership Conference will be held at St George’s University of London. Specific building rooms TBA.
Transportation & Lodging
GBUK is excited to offer travel scholarships to the conference to all members of university leadership teams. Please keep all receipts and you will be reimbursed accordingly. GB UK is not able to cover accommodations. We recommend Hostel World if you require overnight accommodations.
Global Brigades will provide lunch and dinner for conference attendees. For attendees with allergies or special dietary restrictions, please let us know during registration and we will try our best to accommodate.
Conference dress code is casual. Global Brigades branded shirts and attire always encouraged!
