2020 Application Timeline

November 25, 2019: Applications Open

December 9-20, 2019: In-person interviews in Panama for accepted applications

January 6, 2020: Begin role with Brigade support and begin onboarding

January 20, 2020:Formal role training begins

Individuals that will find the most success in this role

  • have experience working or studying with university students from the United States, Canada, or UK
  • speak and write the English language with native or near native fluency
  • look for an immersive cultural experience while gaining hands on professional work experience and soft skills development.
  • are empowered to take initiative and responsibility in their roles
  • demonstrated exemplary customer service, support, and problem solving skills in previous work
  • recognize that successful development work is based on trust in local leadership and programming teams, relationship forming, and respectfully integrating into the team dynamic
