A Student Leadership Conference will take place on Saturday, February 8th, 2020 at Pace University.
The conference will bring together students, staff and volunteers primarily from the Northeastern Region of the US to discuss important topics with Global Brigades staff and board members. This year’s conference will focus on leadership training, presentations, breakout sessions and discussions. Throughout the day we will focus on developing your role as a leader within Global Brigades, understanding sustainable development, discussing ethical volunteering, sharing best practices, and providing the latest updates from GB.
Registration costs $20 per person and the deadline to register for the Student Leadership Conference at Pace University is January 24th, 2020.
This Student Leadership Conference will be held at Pace University, One Pace Plaza, New York, NY 10038.
Transportation & Lodging
Transportation & accommodations should be organized by conference attendees. If you would like to book a hotel for either Friday or Saturday night, feel free to do so. If you would prefer to stay with a Pace student (couch, spare bed, air mattress, etc.) please indicate your request upon registration. Please note that there is limited availability among students, and these requests will be handled on a case by case basis. Preference will be given to those who will be unable to attend the conference otherwise.
On Saturday, February 8th, Global Brigades will provide breakfast and lunch for conference attendees. For attendees with allergies or special dietary restrictions, please let us know during registration and we will try our best to accommodate.
Conference dress code is casual – GB attire is always encouraged!
