The 2nd annual University of Toledo Regional Student Leadership Conference will take place on Saturday, March 30th, 2019 at the University of Toledo.
Global Brigades is partnering with student leaders at the University of Toledo to host the second annual Toledo SLC with the purpose of bringing together volunteers, staff, and professionals within the field of International Development to engage in a day filled with leadership training, presentations, breakout sessions and discussions. Throughout the day we will focus on developing your role as a leader within Global Brigades, thinking critically about the United Nation’s Sustainable development goals, sharing best practices, engaging volunteers year-round, an in depth discussion of volunteering abroad, and providing the latest updates from GB.
The conference will be held at the University of Toledo in room SU 2519
On Saturday, March 30th, Global Brigades will provide breakfast and lunch for conference attendees. For attendees with allergies or special dietary restrictions, please let us know during registration and we will try our best to accommodate.
A group dinner will take place at Phoencia, located on campus, following the conference. This dinner is optional and attendees will be required to pay for their own meal.
Conference dress code is casual.
