Additional Programs
Global Brigades offers volunteers the opportunity to participate in a variety of public health and development programs to relieve poverty. This multi-disciplinary approach offers our communities a holistic model for strategic development. Each Brigade can be operated independently, but it is easier logistically and more impactful in our communities when a university can align to implement together. Below is a complete list of the various Brigades:
- Dental Brigades
-
Global Dental Brigades (GDB) is a secular, international network of volunteers who provide preventative and urgent dental care to communities in developing countries. Our current emphasis is in Honduras with our sister organization, Global Medical Brigades, where in 2008 we served more than 40,000 patients in remote villages without access to health care otherwise. Programs are available in Panama or Honduras.

- Business Brigades
- Global Business Brigades (GBB) is a secular, international network of business students and professionals whose mission is to travel to developing countries to assist in local economic development by providing business solutions to microenterprises in rural villages with limited access to resources. GBB empowers volunteers with the material, know-how, and support to assess and deliver solutions that provide value while preserving local culture and the environment. Programs are currently underway in Honduras and Panama.

- Water Brigades
- Global Water Brigades (GWB) is a secular, international network of university clubs that travel to developing countries to design and implement clean water solutions. In collaboration with either Medical or Business Brigades, this program empowers passionate students and professionals to build relationships with rural communities and create unique and integrated water projects. Our program includes elements of education, sanitation, purification and infrastructural development to ensure that our students' work lasts long into the future. Programs are currently underway in Honduras.

A think tank design approach that utilizes extensive community dialogue and independent research to create efficient, appropriate, and elegant structures to be embraced and utilized by those for whom they were built.

Global Environmental Brigades empowers college students with an educational and hands-on experience abroad to develop strategic environmental solutions that integrate public health, international law, business and architecture disciplines. Customized Environmental Brigades can be added to any of the other Brigades and can take place in Honduras or Panama.

Participants will also have opportunities to build relationships and partner with a broad array of legal, environmental, micro-enterprise, and public health organizations.
